In our efforts at making money online, most of us rely on search traffic, and as such know we need rankings – which means we need backlinks. Some of the more common ways to get backlinks that many of us are familiar are “profile” links and blog commenting. The idea is that you find high Pagerank sites & blogs that don’t use the “no-follow” tag, and create a “profile” or a comment. It is often taught as an “easy” way to get high-value backlinks for SEO purposes.
In addition to a number of tools such as xrumer, Comment Kahuna, Scrapebox, etc., there are plenty of services that sell lists of sites, and will even place your links for you – often very inexpensively. Many of these packages and services are promoted as “High Pagerank Backlinks”.
However, most sites and blogs with high PR have that Pagerank on their home (index) page. Inner pages will generally have much lower pagerank.
